17th Trip of TASICO CEO to Sistan and Baluchestan Province

During his trip to Sistan and Baluchestan Province, Sadr Tamin CEO visited the activities of Pars Tamin Mines Development Company and Taftan Gold Factory.

On Wednesday, September 11, Amir Hossein Naderi, CEO of Sadr Tamin Holding, who had visited Sistan and Baluchestan Province for the 17th time in the past two years, visited the Madofti Gold Mine, the Taftan Gold Extraction Factory, and the measures taken in the dry tailings dump.

During this visit, Mohammad Reza Rezvanianzadeh, Director of TASICO Plans and Projects and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pars Tamin, Seyed Mohammad Saber Parvaresh, Deputy Director of TASICO Companies Affairs, and Meqdad Majdi, CEO of Kurdistan Mines Development Company, accompanied TASICO CEO, and Mohammad Nabi Nouri, CEO, and Rahman Rahmatzahi, members of the Board of Directors of Pars Tamin Mines Development Company, were also present.

During this visit, TASICO CEO Naderi appreciated the activities carried out by Pars Tamin Mines Development Company and Taftan Sadr Gold Factory and emphasized the need to accelerate the implementation of development plans, including increasing production in the Taftan gold extraction factory to one ton per year, constructing a gold extraction factory with a capacity of 5 tons per year, and constructing subsequent factories as planned.

The Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of TASICO, stating that Sistan and Baluchestan is one of the provinces with high mining potential in the country, announced the expansion of this holding’s investment in the mining areas of Sistan and Baluchestan and introduced the project to construct a gold extraction factory with a higher capacity per year as one of the projects being implemented by this holding, which is to be carried out by Pars Tamin Mines Development Company.

The CEO of TASICO also considered paying attention to social responsibilities as one of the characteristics of Sadr Tamin Holding’s activities in Sistan and Baluchestan province and announced the increase in the level of these services this year.

Naderi, referring to the use of local technical knowledge in the construction of the Taftan gold extraction plant, mentioned the employment and use of local human resources in the region along with continuous and specialized training as one of the strengths of this plant.

Other programs of this trip included visiting and examining the mining operation process, transporting minerals, setting up and examining the performance of the factory laboratory, examining the performance of equipment and machinery, and the factory’s activity process in order to sustainably produce quality products according to standards, as well as a brainstorming session with factory managers and officials.

Sadr Tamin is one of the largest and most strategic mining holdings in the country and belongs to Shasta, which has invested in the production of gold and rare elements in recent years and has carried out major projects in the provinces of Sistan and Baluchestan and Kurdistan.

The Sadr Tamin gold project in Sistan and Baluchestan province will produce 11 tons of gold per year and create more than 11,000 jobs in the region by 2020, as well as contribute to the development and prosperity of the province and the emergence of a new gold hub in Iran and the region.
