IRGC Ground Forces Quds Headquarters Commander: Taftan Gold Mine and Factory with More Than 70% Local Baloch Youth is a source of pride and a role model
The IRGC Ground Forces Quds Headquarters Commander considered the employment of local Baloch youth in the Taftan Gold Mine and Factory a source of pride and an important role model for other mines.
According to the Public Relations Department of Pars Tamin Mine Development Company, Brigadier General Seyyed Hassan Mortazavi, in a ceremony honoring and introducing the Governor of Sistan and Baluchistan, appreciated the selection of local people for the Taftan Gold Mine and Factory and considered it an honor.
Referring to his frequent visits to the Taftan Gold Mine and Factory, Brigadier General Mortazavi emphasized: “More than 70% of the technical staff of this mine and factory are local Baloch youth from the region.”
Evaluating the importance of employing local people in the Taftan Gold Mine and Factory, he continued: “The employment of local Baloch youth from the region is a source of pride and other mines should follow this example.”
The commander of the IRGC’s Quds Headquarters continued: “There should be no words, speeches, or issues that slow down the pace of projects in the development, prosperity, progress, and employment of Sistan and Baluchestan.”
In the end, General Mortazavi appreciated and thanked the former governor, General Mohammad Karami, for his round-the-clock and sincere services, and wished the new governor, Mansour Bijar, success in his service.
Pars Tamin Mine Development Company is the mining arm of Sadr Tamin Holding, a subsidiary of Shasta Holdings. By exploiting the mine and constructing a gold extraction plant, this company has provided direct and indirect employment for more than 1,500 people from Sistan and Baluchestan Province. In order to provide its needed manpower, Pars Tamin has, for the first time, held a recruitment exam in Sistan and Baluchestan Province to select, recruit, train, and employ young local forces.
Pars Tamin Mines Development Company, by holding a socialization course, sent more than 120 newly recruited local forces to the Mote Gold Complex in Isfahan Province to undergo theoretical and practical courses, and then implemented additional in-service training for these forces. This action by Pars Tamin Mines Development Company has been a major step in training young local skilled workers and has paved the way for the creation and development of an industrial culture in Sistan and Baluchestan Province.
